Lean Manufacturing Manager

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Establish and nurture a Lean Culture, empowering to achieve necessary productivity gains and waste reduction for optimal cost positioning and growth.
• Develop and implement a Lean roadmap and action plan for each Operating Business Unit (OBU).
• Implement the main methodologies of operational excellence (Lean manufacturing, Six sigma and kaizen) across the site to drive continuous improvement.
• Drive and facilitate Six Sigma methodologies application in a structure manner to raise up the process capabilities to the next level.
• As an expert in the use of the Lean tools / methods with a comprehensive knowledge of Six Sigma and descriptive statistics, lead and manage the completion of continuous improvement projects within a given timeframe to meet the company or OBUs goals in productivity, quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Work with MDs and OBUs to implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
• Lead and facilitate employees through workshops designed to improve work processes to reduce cycle time, inventory, labour hours, scrap.
• Mentor and train the next level of WCM experts, building bench strength to support company growth.
• Take ownership of Lean-related performance metrics within each OBU.
• Lead transformational initiatives aimed at implementing best practices to set up Standard and boosting factory performance for designated periods.
• Implement support structures to ensure long-term sustainability and efficiency of Lean programs.

• Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
• University student
• University education (Bachelor's degree)
• University education (Master's degree)
• Postgraduate (Doctorate)

• Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, kaizen, and the ability to lead workshops and train WCM experts.
• Leadership, strong analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and a focus on long-term sustainability and efficiency.
