Global Deployment MES Engineer

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Together with the global MES team, local site operations and supplier, you will assist in driving the project forward and ensure the implementation is carried out according the the project plan. You will support and drive production operations in utilizing the MES system, ensure that configuration, maintenance and development is implemented in a secure fashion.

• Supporting MES projects (together with MES Global Architect and Project Manager)
• Collection/analyzation of data from operation equipment to the MES system
• Ensuring efficient reports from Aegis Factory Logix (e.g. management reports, OEE, KPI)
• Linking MES with other data sources or/and business applications
• Handling of incoming business requests
• Change Management handling
• Solve MES related tasks (planning, executing and reporting)
• Aegis FactoryLogix system documentation
• Design and sharing of training materials
• Facilitating system trainings factories
• Configuring and setting up the MES solution and interfaces

Personality requirements and skills

This position requires travelling to all manufacturing sites, expect 10-40 travel days per year.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronical engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with ITand IT knowledge about SQL, XML, ERP
• Knowledge about MES solutions and operational technology (OT) as well as insight into the interaction between mechanics, automation and digitalization. If you furthermore have worked with Aegis’FactoryLogix it is an extra benefit.
• Fluent in English.
• Systematic problem solving and decision making.
